How to use WinHP
From WinHP
Install WinHP
- Uncompress WinHP zip file
- Download a viewer on winhp site
- XView, Eden or Tgv for HP48 : editors to install on your HP48
- Tgv49 for HP49 : editors to install on your HP49
- Transfer and install the viewer library on your HP48 or HP49
To do this, you will need a software like HPComm from Jean-Pierre Bergamin to transfer to library to your HP
See : http://www.hpcalc.org to download such a software (but you probably already own such a software if you bought the HP-PC cable)
If you have an HP49 and you want to use internal HP49 viewer, you don't need to install a library (Tgv49 is still needed if you want grobs in your texts)
Create your file
First, you need to create your file. You can create XView files, Eden Files, Tgv Files or native HP49 viewer files.
See :
Transfer your file
Then you have to transfer it on your HP.
If you don't use default fonts that is to say :
- DefaultXV.fnt for XView or Eden
- TgvNormal.fnt, TgvFont1.fnt and TgvMini.fnt for Tgv
You have to transfer your fonts too
See XView, Tgv or Eden docs for more help.
